How can we stay mindful, calm and present when we are surrounded by messages that seem scary or unsafe? This virus is a tangible reminder that we do not have control over many of the challenges in our external world, but we do have the power to take care of and nourish our internal world. Through practicing mindfulness, we gain deeper awareness and acceptance of our present moment reality. It is from this place of acceptance that we have the power to shift our internal response and emotions back to our desired state.
